Reminiscing

As I sit in my warm West Virginia home, I notice that outside it is a bone chilling 23 degrees and the hills are snow covered once again. I do enjoy winter, unlike most in my neck of the woods. I have been an avid skier since the age of 3! Although winter doesn’t bother me, spring and summer are without a doubt my prime months. Alongside owning and running my own film productions company I also race BMX bicycles all over the North East and Mid West. I actually run my own BMX race track that is located just a short drive North up I79. During the summer months when I’m not film/producing I am traveling all over, racing BMX bicycles on a national circuit with some of my closest bicycling friends. We have some pretty crazy stories from the road. Everything has happened from out tents getting ripped to shreds by the rabid wind storms to midnight illegal fire work displays followed by a hide and seek session with the park rangers. The list goes on and on…One thing is for sure, we always have a blast. Check out some of the memorable moments from 2009.

"Ride West Virginia" movie update

Well winter is in full effect here in West Virginia. Luke Nesler and his 304films.com crew have been hard at work for the past 2 months getting as much footage as they could before old man winter closed out the warm season. The boys went through some memorable times already in the short time that they were out filming/riding. Luke had his fist successful cable-camera run at the White Park dirt jump trails in Morgantown. The crew has even had some mishaps that will make for one heck of a blooper reel! Producer Luke Nesler had a run in with one of our riders axe and….you can finish the rest. Not to worry. The cold won’t keep the crew down all winter so be sure to stay tuned for more thrilling updates.

The Creativity Runs Through

As many know, I am a film producer at heart. I first picked up a video camera when I was in 6th or 7th grade and started making films with some close friends to show case our lack of fear and abundance of stupidity. Never did I imagine that it would lead me this far with a career in TV/film production. To some it may come as a surprise that I am also somewhat talented in the field of photography. Will I ever be Americas Next Top Model’s head photographer…no but I do have a creative eye for capturing some pretty unique action sports/sports shot. 2009 NBL Grand National BMX Championships!

Here is the Grand daddy of BMX races. The NBL BMX Grand National Championships. 2009 was a weekend to remember at the famous Louisville Kentucky BMX track. Kids, Teens, Adults and families from all of the country/world came to share their love for BMX racing and take home a National ranking. Check out the practice footage from Friday.

Jump Jam '09

Here are part 1 and 2 from the 2009 Jump Jam, held in the breath taking hills of West Virginia. There is no money pay out, no prizes. It’s just a group of riders from around the tri-state area who get together and share the love of BMX through trail riding. This years Jump Jam was the best to date. We had riders from all over WV, MD, and even PA. It was a great time had by all.
